Logitech Performance Mouse MX wired mod

Charging batteries sucks and the cable provided with the mouse was way too stiff for every day use. I still wanted this mouse for having the Darkfield Tracking and Endless Scrolling features.

Here is how I did it: Logitech Performance Mouse MX wired mod @ Instructables

Smart Home

For my Smart Home, I decided to use OpenHAB as the main software, HomeMatic for the heater thermostats and some switches, Philips Hue.

For integrating smart switches into my existing electrical installation while still looking good, I designed a Jung AS light switch plate @ Thingiverse, prepared for the Anarduino modules.

Non-Sucking 3D Printer

With my old Velleman K8200 3D printer, I got a lot of experience and learned a lot about how a printer should be and where the problems usually are. At some point, there was no use further improving the printer because I would have to do major changes to the mechanics. So I decided to create a new one, from scratch.

It doesn't live up to its name but maybe you can learn something from it: Non-Sucking 3D Printer @ Thingiverse

Non-Sucking 3D Printer MK2

As its predecessor didn't live up to its name and had some flaws, I again learned a lot about how not to do it. And then E3D released their idea of a tool changer into the wild. This was just too intriguing - so I decided to create a new one, from scratch. Again.

It is done-ish but will receive an update when I get the "direct drive" tool done: Non-Sucking 3D Printer MK2 @ Thingiverse
